Employment at Mulleraterong

Mulleraterong Centre provides the opportunity for interested people to do a two week voluntary orientation to determine if they are interested, and if they are suited to our team environment and culture. Over the two weeks we make sure participants see as much as possible, working with every staff member and every participant.

Following  successful completion of the voluntary orientation, together we will assess your  suitability for a role at the Centre and in all likelihood, we will offer you one week paid training where all you have observed over the 2 weeks is put into practice. We then commit to offering you as much paid work as possible to
facilitate practice and improvement. We do not ask you to give up paid work to volunteer and we will work with you to facilitate you becoming first a volunteer and then a paid casual reliever if you wish to. We will also process a Police check at that time.

When staff vacancies arise, we promote from within wherever possible and as a casual staff member you would be considered for any situations vacant if you were interested. Volunteers and casual team members are invited to attend all team training at no cost to them, however they are not paid for the time.

If you are in a position to do such a voluntary placement, please feel free to call the CEO on 5572 3155 and time will be made availble to discuss this opportunity further. Alternatively you can fill out the form below and someone from the Centre will contact you.
